AAUTHRIZDENTERPRISE AUTHORITY

AUTHRIZD PLATFORM

Every authority dimension. One control plane.

Identity tells you who an AI agent is. Permissions tell you what it can access. Authrizd determines whether this exact action is authorized — under the current intent, scope, delegation, approvals, evidence, context, and risk — before it happens.

Built to be the most comprehensive authority control plane for enterprise AI.

Proof Before Execution. No authority, no action.

WHY AUTHORITY IS DIFFERENT

None of these are authority by themselves.

Identity is not authority. Knowing who or what an agent is says nothing about what it is authorized to do.

Access is not authority. Technical permission to reach a system is not enterprise authorization to act on it.

A prompt is not authority. A human or agent stating an objective supplies intent, not a grant.

Authentication is not authority. Proving identity to a downstream system does not itself authorize the action taken there.

Successful API or tool access is not authority. A call that succeeds technically can still be unauthorized.

Authority does not automatically transfer. A subagent, tool, or service credential does not inherit its caller's full authority by default.

Prior authority can go stale. When context, evidence, or scope changes materially, an earlier grant must be re-evaluated, not assumed.

Authority Definition & Compilation

What authority is made of, and how a request becomes an executable authorization.

7 capabilities
Exact-effect authority modelValidated

Every decision resolves actor, intent, action/effect, resource, context, delegation, time, and risk together rather than checking access alone.

Minimum-necessary, deny-by-default evaluationValidated

The authority evaluator grants only the smallest bounded effect a request supports and denies anything unresolved.

Authority Source RegistryValidated

Authority evidence is resolved through a registry of pluggable providers rather than one hard-coded source of truth.

Human-Origin Intent captureAvailable

Captures the human-originated objective behind an agent request so intent can be distinguished from agent-generated restatement.

Mandate CompilerAvailable

Compiles a structured enterprise mandate and objective into a bounded, executable authorization manifest.

Authority Interview Engine / Conversational Authority CompilerValidated

Turns a natural-language objective into authority questions, resolving only material ambiguity before compiling a scope.

Delegation and Service-Credential Non-TransitivityAvailable

A relationship grant, subagent, tool, or service credential materializes only what the originating mandate already supports; none of them can manufacture greater authority downstream than the principal that issued them held.

HOW THE AUTHORITY ENGINE WORKS

One sequence, from objective to receipt.

An execution system never gains authority merely by successfully authenticating downstream — every stage below is re-checked, not assumed. Select a stage for the detailed explanation.

INTEGRATIONS

One authority layer across the enterprise.

GitHub first. Enterprise-wide by design. GitHub is the first deployment vertical; the same authority engine is built to extend across identity, enterprise applications, AI platforms, and infrastructure. See the full connector catalog on the Integrations page for connector depth (evidence / monitor / enforce).

Atlassian (Jira / Confluence)Available

Authority evidence for Atlassian-hosted work and agent activity.

WHY THIS IS COMPREHENSIVE

Authority requires these dimensions resolved together.

Each of the categories below solves a real, necessary problem. None of them, alone, resolves whether one exact action is authorized.

Identity platforms

Establish who or what is present. They do not determine what that actor was empowered to do for this exact action.

Permissions systems

Define what a role or credential can technically reach. Technical reach is not the same as business authorization.

Policy engines

Evaluate whether a request matches a rule. A rule match is necessary but not sufficient without resolving delegation, context, and evidence together.

Guardrails and model-safety layers

Constrain what a model will generate or say. They do not resolve whether an already-generated action has enterprise authority.

Gateways

Control which calls are technically allowed through. A gateway rule is a control point, not an authority decision with evidence and replay.

Observability platforms

Record what happened after the fact. They do not decide, before execution, whether the action was authorized.

Approval-workflow tools

Route requests to humans. Routing is not the same as computing which requests need a human at all.

ENTERPRISE EVIDENCE / TRUST

Traceable to evidence, not asserted.

See the full Trust Center for security architecture, data handling, and compliance-alignment detail.

Provenance

Facts are tagged by how they were established — stated, discovered, verified, or unresolved — so a reviewer can see where a fact came from.

Receipts & replay

Exact-effect grants, enforcement outcomes, and historical decisions can be replayed against their original evidence snapshot.

Diagnostics

The Authority Gap Scanner and release diagnostics surface where declared access exceeds resolvable authority, instead of assuming coverage.

Audit

Runtime decisions emit structured audit events rather than free-text logs, so audit history is queryable.

Evidence requirements

Evidence requirements are visible before execution, not reconstructed afterward.

Export

Evidence bundles and Open Authority records export in a portable format for external review.

Fail-closed behavior

Missing, stale, conflicting, or unavailable authority evidence fails closed rather than defaulting to allow.

Signed evidence

Signed evidence is represented only where the configured environment actually produces a signed artifact — it is not claimed by default.
